Set in an elevated position in the heart of Mumbles with stunning sea views across Swansea Bay lies this deceptively large Victorian townhouse spread out across 4 thoughtfully decorated floors. As you walk through the front door of Oakland House you are met with a stylish, light-filled living area complete with cosy log burner, Smart TV, and dining area. Leading through to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen you will find a large decked area via patio doors that features wonderful sea views and pretty olive trees – the perfect setting for al fresco dining. Both the lower ground floor and 2nd floor are fantastic spaces to relax away from the main living areas with the latter boasting far reaching bay views over the surrounding rooftops. This really is the perfect family home for all seasons.

Explore Mumbles and Beyond
A brilliant selection of independent stores, restaurants and cafes can be found within a 5-minute walk of the property as well as the 5-mile seafront promenade that stretches around the bay to Swansea Marina. Known locally as the ‘Gateway to Gower’, Mumbles marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula’s rugged coastline with access to some stunning, award-winning beaches and breath-taking views. The popular beaches of Langland and Rotherslade Bay are a short walk from the house where you can also take the Wales Coastal Path along the cliffs to Caswell Bay. Oxwich Bay, Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay are pet-friendly beaches throughout the year – ideal for tiring out your four-legged friend and there are some delicious pubs to sample on your way home.

Lower Ground Floor

Lounge: Two 3-seater sofas, large upholstered stool and 50” Smart TV with live channels.

Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Shower Room: Electric power shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail, cabinet and mirror.
Ground Floor

Living/Dining Area: Two 2-seater sofas, large upholstered stool, log burning stove, upholstered bench in the large bay windows, 40” Smart TV with live channels, a butlers tray and two tables with stunning table lamps. Dining area with table, bench seating for 4, 3 dining chairs and an arm chair with small side table and lamp.

Kitchen: Built-in electric Smeg oven, gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, centre island with two bar stools and a bench, an espresso/coffee machine and great views out towards Swansea Bay from the patio doors.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: King bedroom with zip & link bed that can be made up as 2 x singles (please request at time of booking), bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 50" Smart TV and leather sofa.

Bedroom 2: King bedroom with bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and sea views out across the bay over surrounding rooftops.

Bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail, cabinet and mirror.

Cloakroom: WC and wash basin.

Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and sea views out across the bay over surrounding rooftops

Second Floor

Loft Room: Sofa, large bean bag, 40" Smart TV, coffee table and sea views from the Velux windows.

Garden

Large decked area with wonderful sea views, gas BBQ (gas not provided & must be cleaned after use), solar lighting surrounding deck, cube dining set to seat 10 and large potted olive trees in each corner of the decking.

Heating and electricity: Included. Log starter pack provided for log burner.

Bed linen, hand and bath towels: Provided.

Travel cot, high-chair and stair-gate: Available on request. Please bring your own cot linen.

Pets: 2 dogs welcome. Additional charges apply. Please bring your own dog bed. Dogs not allowed upstairs, on sofa or beds.

Parking: On-street parking can be found to the front on a first-come, first-served basis. Temporary holiday parking permits can be purchased from Swansea Council.
